REGISTRATION

Access to all Congress activities is subject to registration. Participants are encouraged to register well in advance to benefit from early registration fees (deadline is 31st May 2008).

Late (deadline is 25th August 2008) and on-site registration remain further options.

You can register in the TWO following ways:

    Please note that in order to register online, you need pay by credit card (VISA, MASTERCARD, EUROCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS)
  • by fax or post: in this case, the hardcopy registration form needs to be completed and sent to the Congress Office accompanied by your payment.

  • Registration requests or changes by phone are not allowed.
  • Only registration applications accompanied by the appropriate payment will be processed.
  • Please refer to the table below for registration categories and deadlines.
  • Registration fees are to be settled in Euros (€).
  • Upon receipt of your registration (regardless of how you registered) and after payment clearance, the Congress Office will mail/email you an invoice/confirmation letter summarizing all registration and events reservation details, specifying the payment status and including the amount of Value Added Tax (VAT).
  • This confirmation letter should be presented upon arrival at the EADV PARIS 2008 Congress pre-registration desk.

IMPORTANT

All companies and agencies registering delegates to the EADV Congress Paris 2008, are requested to provide the complete professional or personal address of each participant.

All rates include VAT of 19,60% at current rate at the day of printing.

(1) EADV is offering a one-year membership fee without further payment for participants who paid the full fee as non-members for the duration of the congress. To make this offer valid the following requirements must be met: - The participant must be a scientist or a certified dermatologist and/or venereologist (eligible for EADV Ordinary or International membership category as described on the application form) and, - Complete the application form enclosed and send it to the EADV office with a copy of the congress invoice as proof of full payment. This offer is not applicable to: Participants paying the residents/nurses/students fee or any participant who received a reduced fee at the congress registration or a fellowship. (2) To qualify for low fees the applicant‘s registration form must be accompanied by written proof of status.
(3) This registration fee gives NO access to the scientific sessions, exhibition and poster areas.
(4) Fee is per course/lunch and per person. Course C05 price is € 80.
(5) This registration fee gives access to the Sub-Specialty Society meetings ONLY and which are held on Wednesday, 17th September 2008.

Delegates’ registration fee includes:
  • Admission to all Congress sessions, poster areas and exhibition.
  • Admission to the Opening Ceremony.
  • Admission to the Welcome Reception.
  • Congress documents (final programme, abstracts CDRom, Congress bag).
  • A metro & bus pass valid for downtown Paris during the entire Congress period.
The possibility of buying a ticket for the Congress Evening. Accompanying persons’ fees include:
  • Admission to the Opening Ceremony.
  • Admission to the Welcome Reception.
  • 1 Paris City Tour (please refer to the Tours chapter, page 23 to see timetable).
  • A metro & bus pass valid for downtown Paris during the entire Congress period.
  • The possibility of buying a ticket for the Congress Evening.

Terms of payment

  • The EADV and Organising Committees have given a mandate to MCI for the full organisation of the 17th Congress of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology. MCI is the sole competent company to receive payments for this Congress and to act on behalf of the EADV for the whole organisation (conference & exhibition).
Payments may be made either:
  • by credit card (Visa / Master Card / Eurocard / American Express)
  • by cheque to the order of EADV PARIS 2008 / MCI and sent to:

Name changes & modifications

  • A processing fee of € 50 will be charged for changes in registration except for name substitutions which will be treated as new registrations.

Fellowship

  • The Local Organizing Committee of the 17th Congress of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology will offer 300 grants of reduced registration fee (i.e. 120€ VAT included) to dermatologists/venereologists whose economic means are not otherwise supported to attend the above mentioned congress, 17-21 September 2008 in Paris - France.
  • The deadline for fellowship applications has now expired.   Applicants will be informed whether their application has been granted or not by mid May 2008
Application terms and conditions:
  • APPLICATION DEADLINE: 10th APRIL 2008 .
  • Applications must be received strictly by the closing date; any late applications will not be considered.
  • Applications will be assessed by the EADV Paris 2008 Local Committee and their decision will be final.
  • Only one application per person may be submitted.
  • Once you have completed the online form and pressed "SUBMIT", you will receive an email confirming that your application has been submitted.
  • Preference will be given to those applicants who have submitted an abstract for consideration for the EADV PARIS 2008 Congress.

Registration cancellation policy

All cancellations must be notified in writing (by mail, fax or e.mail) to the Congress Office according to the following conditions and reimbursements will be processed AFTER the Congress.

Up to 15th May 2008: € 100 administrative fee will be withheld.

Cancellations between 16th May 2008 and 20th August 2008: reimbursement of 50% of the registered fees.

After 20th August 2008: no refund.

Requests for refunds received by the Congress Office after 15th November 2008 will not be considered.

Appointed Italian agency

The EADV has appointed the following Italian agency as sole referee to collect on its behalf all the applications from representatives of Italian pharmaceutical companies who wish to attend the EADV PARIS 2008.
